One Line Rivals
About One Line Rivals
One Line Rivals is a fast, head-to-head puzzle duel from Golem Kin Games. Each round drops an irregular grid of glowing tiles in front of both players, and the challenge is drawing one continuous stroke that covers every tile exactly once — no lifting the line, no crossing, no doubling back. The underlying puzzle type is a Hamiltonian path: fill the entire shape in a single unbroken sweep, raced against a rival.
How to Play One Line Rivals
A match runs 90 seconds after a 3-second countdown. Both you and your AI rival independently solve a stream of puzzles on a shared timer — each completed puzzle scores one point, and whoever has solved the most when time expires wins. The rival operates on rubber-band difficulty, speeding up when it falls behind and easing off when ahead, so matches stay close throughout.
Solve Each Puzzle
Start on the marked tile, identified by a white ring. Press and hold there, then drag through adjacent tiles — up, down, left, or right only, no diagonals — to extend the glowing line. Every single tile must be covered exactly once; revisiting or skipping a tile isn't allowed. The puzzle completes automatically the moment the last tile fills, a point is scored, and the next puzzle loads immediately.
Reset When Stuck
If the line traps itself with uncovered tiles remaining, tap the Reset button beneath the board to clear the stroke and start the puzzle over from the marked tile.
Controls
- Press and hold (finger or mouse): Start the line on the marked tile
- Drag (up / down / left / right): Extend the line through adjacent tiles
- Reset button: Clear the current line and restart the puzzle
